Ride For Precious Lives 2009 was a fantastic success. Not only did we raise £50,000 for Children’s Hospice South West we also spread their message across the region. The ride had a lot of media coverage including local radio and newspapers and that will continue towards, during and after the 2010 event.
With 100 riders this year the event will be bigger and better in terms of generating media interest and having proven itself, the Ride for Precious Lives can focus on achieving a higher profile in 2010.
Your company could be part of that profile. You would be supporting a cause that is local and so vital to the families that benefit from the care and support the hospice team provide. To help us to help them, there are a variety of ways you can support RFPL 2010.
- Your name could appear on the cycling shirts. In small letters or BIG ones!
- The support vehicles could carry your products. Food, water, bike spares etc
- You could sponsor one or more of the refreshment stops.
- You could give riders a discount off your products or services to help them prepare for the ride.
- Or you could simply support the riders’ fundraising efforts by sponsoring us! We will be very grateful but the hospices and their patients will be the real winners.
This is a great event. It keeps the fund raising and the effort local and it’s good to be part of that.
